Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool Alternative
For several years the Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool was an invaluable tool for researching keywords, keyword variations, and search volume. As of late it has had multiple outages and is currently displaying data that is not up to date. This has frustrated the Search Engine Industry because there was no other free tool that gave the information that the Keyword Suggestion tool did, until now.
Keyword Discovery has added a free keyword suggestion tool here. It posts suggested keyword variations and search volumes similar to the Overture tool. But you can gather even more information with a paid subscription to Keyword Discovery.

Don’t depend on Overture that much. They have big flaws in their DB.
When my site ranked #4 for secure email I thought I got a big jump (600 users more), but nothing happened!
Use Google’s Adwords Tool instead. They dont give you numbers but an overall estimate like “Low, Medium High”
Anyway its gone…

I also use Google Adwords Tool. It is a great tool for finding similar keywords and their search volume and competition. I wish they gave actual search numbers instead of “Low, Medium, or High” but what can we do.
One thing I like about Keyword Discovery’s keyword suggestion tool is that it displays plural and singular keywords. Overture keyword suggestion tool only displays singular forms of keywords. For me it was difficult sometimes to decide whether to market web sites using singular keywords or their plural forms. Now I can just go to Keyword Discovery and take a look at actual data for searches made and make my decision based on what I find there.
